Privacy and membership

Sen is a private, invitation-only introduction service for women who love women. Discretion is at the center of what we do, so we collect only what we need to consider your application and make introductions, and we never make your information public.

Who we are

Sen is operated by Sen, referred to here as Sen, we, or us. You can reach us about anything on this page at privacy@sencircle.com.

What we collect

• Contact details. Your name, email, and your phone number if you choose to share it.
• Your application. What you tell us about yourself, your intentions, the woman you hope to meet, and anything you write in your own words.
• Identity verification. When you are invited to join, a trusted third-party partner confirms your identity. We receive confirmation of the result and do not store your government ID.
• Payment information. Membership is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical data. Standard information your device sends when you use the site, used to keep it secure and working.

Sensitive information

Information about your sexual orientation and the partner you are seeking is sensitive. We collect it only to provide the service you are asking for, we handle it with extra care, and we never sell it or make it public.

How we use it

• To review your application and decide whether Sen is a fit.
• To consider and make introductions.
• To confirm that members are who they say they are.
• To manage your membership and to contact you personally.

We do not sell your information and we do not run ads. We never show your details to another member without your consent, and no introduction is made without your word.

How we share it

We share information only with the providers who help us operate, such as our identity verification partner, our payment processor, and our email and hosting services, under contracts that limit their use of it. We also share information if the law requires it. We never sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep your application while you are under consideration or an active member. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will, unless we are required to keep some of it by law.

Membership and billing

Membership is one hundred dollars per quarter. There is no charge to request an invitation, and you are not billed until you have accepted a place in the circle. Membership then renews each quarter until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and your membership stays active through the end of the quarter you have paid for. The founding rate is held for the first fifty members and remains their price for as long as they stay.

No guarantee. Sen offers introductions, not promises. We choose each one with care, but whether a connection forms is between you and the person you meet, and is not something we can guarantee.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or to withdraw from consideration, by writing to us at privacy@sencircle.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data, and we will honor them.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we treat your privacy as central to what we do.

Eligibility

Sen is for adults aged 18 and over.

If we update this page, we will post the new version here and change the date above.
